I don’t share about it too much on here, but I’m trying to pursue health and happiness this year. Health and happiness go hand in hand for me I think. I’m noticing how my health affects my happiness, and how what I eat and what I do actively effects my overall mood and well-being. There are so many things out there I’d like to try. I’m so interested in juicing, and clean eating, and essential oils, and what’s oil pulling all about?! I hope to find out a lot about myself and a lot about what’s awesome and what’s not!
Those who know me best know I’m a list maker. That being said, it should come as no surprise that I have a list of things I’d like to do this new year to accomplish some goals towards a happier and healthier me!

+ complete at least 4 MacroEd challenges
+ be able to run a mile without stopping
+ be able to run 2 miles without stopping
+ be able to run a 5K without stopping
+ run in a 5K race
+ add around 15-20 new healthy recipes into my meal rotation
+ learn more about essential oils
+ develop an essential oil routine for myself and my family
+ transition to mostly whole foods for myself and my family
+ try oil pulling, maybe
+ develop a better sleep schedule
+ develop a strong exercise routine
+ develop an eating plan that works for me and my family
+ use exercise and food as my medicine, instead of pills in a bottle
+ give myself “me time” to recharge
+ spend more time doing the things that make me happy
+ make myself, my health, and my happiness a priority
Last year I had lots of success with MacroEd and IIFYM. My plan is to continue that this year, and hopefully reach my weight loss goals in the process. I know with the holidays and my husband coming home and me absolutely losing my mind, I’ve put about 5 pounds back on. But, I’m not finished and I’m not quitting. I have some wonderful goals for myself this year, and I can’t wait to share more about that as those goals are being met!
