Many of my friends know that I’ve recently become introduced to essential oils, and I’ve really enjoyed finding ways to incorporate them into our everyday life. One of the ways I’ve been adding them to my routine is through cleaning. Lemon is one of my favorite essential oils. The smell is perfect all on its own to brighten your day. It’s such a clean, happy, mood lifting smell. It’s a great essential oil to use in making hand soap and all purpose cleaner.
I found this awesome recipe in my DoTerra magazine, and I couldn’t wait to try it. It’s so simple.. so, so simple. It’s going to be a great addition to my Spring Cleaning routine this year!
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 3/4 cup water
- 50 drops Lemon essential oil
DIRECTIONS : mix together in a glass spray bottle, and enjoy!
I have to admit, I’m still pretty new to this. You’ll notice above I mentioned a glass bottle. I know that some essential oils don’t do well in plastic, and I heard citrus oils were ones that didn’t do well. Just something to maybe keep in mind!
If you’re someone who uses oils, I’d love to have you join my Facebook group! It doesn’t matter what brand you use, I’m just happy to have people to talk about recipes and blends and uses with. I do share things that DoTerra has to offer, but anyone is welcome to join and I’ve really enjoyed learning from friends who’ve been using them for a while! Please join us HERE!
