We live in relatively small town, and I love that they shut down main street and do fun things like Pumpkinpalooza for the entire community! The cheerleaders from Miss State are there, there are local vendors, all the businesses and shops down town pass out candy to the kids, there is face painting and pumpkin painting, and an adorable set up right in the middle with hay and pumpkins where people can take pictures. It’s fun! This was our 2nd year to go! The kids got all dressed up in their trick-or-treat gear – this year we have a witch and an “army guy”. I’m surprised because Kate didn’t pick a princess and Tristan didn’t pick a Star Wars character. That’s all we’ve been or talked about all year! This is big, y’all! That’s her witch face, incase anyone is wondering.
We had so much fun and saw so many friends. Downtown was PACKED and I didn’t take any pictures of the crowd because I was trying to wrangle two very excited kiddos by myself, but just trust me, it was a happening place! We are so thankful to the community for offering this to us, as well as the businesses downtown for participating and making it so fun for our family!
And a little flashback to last year. I had forgotten she was a witch then, too! ha!
